To ensure the health and safety of all students, we have established the following procedures for sickness and late arrivals. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Sickness Procedures

1. Reporting Absences:

   • If your child is sick, please notify the school office by 9:00 AM on the day of the absence. You can call the office at 01304 822663 or email Lindsey.kinnon@greenpark.kent.sch.uk or via ParentMail.
   • Provide your child’s name, grade, and a brief description of their illness.

2. Returning to School:

   • Children should be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning to school.
   • For contagious illnesses (e.g., flu, chickenpox), a doctor’s note confirming that your child is no longer contagious is required.

3. Medication:

   • If your child needs to take medication during school hours, please complete a Medication Form at the school office.
   • All medications must be in their original containers and labeled with your child’s name and dosage instructions.

Late Arrival Procedures

1. Notification:

   • If your child will be late, please inform the school office as soon as possible. You can call or email using the contact information provided above.

2. Arrival:

   • Upon arrival, late students must check in at the school office via InVentry sign in before going to their classroom.

Please do not report your child's absence from school via Facebook as these messages can be missed during school hours.
