A message from Nigel Collins, Chair of Governors:
Green Park is an excellent school and it is a pleasure and a great privilege to have been a governor at the school since it opened in 2008.
As Chair of Governors I oversee the work of the Governing Body and meet regularly with the headteacher and other senior leaders. Together, we share a vision for the school which recognises it as a Centre of Excellence not only supporting our own pupils, families and staff but also other schools.
Mr Collins
I have worked in Buckland since 2001 for Cross-Links, a faith-based community outreach charity situated near the school. At Cross-Links we run activities for the benefit of local people, including: toddler groups, children/youth work, family support and Messy Church. I live locally and am married to Anne with 3 grown up children, 2 dependent children and 4 grandchildren; our grandson recently enrolled at the school.
