Green Park is an excellent school and it is a pleasure and a great privilege to have been a governor at the school since its opening in 2008.

As Chair of Governors I oversee the work of the Governing Board and meet regularly with the head teacher and other school leaders.  Together, we share a vision which recognises it as a Centre of Excellence not only supporting our pupils, families and staff but also other schools.

Over the years I have gotten to know the school well, having worked in the local community for 18 years based in nearby Sheridan Road.  I now work for the Diocese of Canterbury but I'm also a church leader working in the Buckland and town parishes.  I live locally and am married with 5 grown up children, 6 grandchildren (one of whom attends the school).
