To help make your Home Learning as easy as possible, we have created a list of some useful links and websites. Many of these have waived subscription fees in light of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic. Click on the logo to follow the links:
PhonicsPlay follows the scheme that we follow to teach phonics in school. This is a subscription service but they are currently offering FREE membership using the username: march20 and password: home.
Twinkl have kindly offered parents FREE 30-day access to their resources. Enter the code: CVDTWINKLHELPS to register for a FREE 30-day account.
Oxford Owl reading have a huge library of FREE to access ebooks and audiobooks, including many of the schemes the children will read at school. You need to register for an account but access to the books is FREE.
White Rose Maths is the scheme followed throughout the school. They have produced year group specific Home Learning, including a voiced digital lesson and worksheets to follow up the learning.
Hamilton Trust are also providing year group specific packs of Home Learning - with daily doses of English and Maths released each week.
Kitaboo World Book eReader are offering their entire collection of over 3000 ebooks for FREE.
Classroom Secrets have put together a set of Home Learning packs for parents to download for FREE.
This is a programming website, more aimed at KS2 pupils, where children can create characters and use simple coding skills to create actions.
Scratch Jr is the KS1 version of Scratch. This uses a simplified version of coding to create characters, backgrounds and actions.
This site covers all subjects, but is particularly good for maths games. You can narrow down your search by age range and area of maths.
Prodigy Math provides FREE access to a range of maths games (although this is aligned to the US curriculum). You will need to sign up for an account but it is FREE.
This website provides a range of facts, quizzes and videos suitable for primary aged children.
CBeebies Radio provides a great range of listening activities for younger children and those who will struggle to record their home learning in written form.
This website is a fantastic source of factual information on a range of topics.
This is a website of FREE educational games.
This website has a selection of creative and art activities.
There are a selection of craft activities on this website and they also have a YouTube channel that you can follow for videos for the children to watch.
This website is filled with Geography interactive games.
